Delta Kappa Gamma Leadership Training

I completed the first part of Leadership Training for Delta Kappa Gamma today. I learned so much about myself and my Leadership Style. I met some really cool people that I had never met before and now I will look for them every time Xi State gets together. Dr. Hanna Flowers was the leader. She is from Georgia and did an awesome job. I took the Myers Briggs and found I was ESTJ. E-Extrovert, S-Sensory, T-Thinking, and J--Judging. According to that--I am a rule follower, a joiner, have a great work ethic, and love traditions.

For those of you that don't know--Delta Kappa Gamma is a society for key women educators. I would recommend investigating your local chapter if you teach school. Good luck.

Class

I love my night class. They work so hard learning to do new things and applying them to their classrooms. Blogs and wikis are no different. These new learning environments will allow students to communicate with each other so quickly and easily. The students are working so hard to use them. It is the future and we see it coming so quickly. Keep on working to learn new things; your students will benefit.

Blogging

Blogging is a great way to communicate with students. You could write a post and have the students discuss it in the blog. You could put a math problem and have the students work on the problem and communicate with each other about solutions. You could put a creative problem on the blog and have the students communicate creative solutions to the problem. What are other assignments that could use a blog for?
